Abbott and Crabb

Abbott & Crabb (Dave Abbott and Henry Crabb) have become one of the bastions of the South African entertainment, cabaret and pub circuit.

They have performed at prestigious venues such as Sun City and The Carousel as well as neighbouring countries Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia. In fact, it's probably easier to mention the few places they haven't played.They have been together for the last twenty years, which makes them one of the oldest surviving bands in the country.

Over the last ten years they have settled in Johannesburg, both married with children but this does not stop them from playing at distant venues on a "one off" basis.

Their reputation has been built around a show, which combines stand-up comedy and sketches with a strong musical performance, based around their considerable vocal and instrumental capabilities. They will have you rolling around in the isles with just one word and won't get up until you can't breathe anymore.

And then... they'll get you on the dance floor with music from the sixties and seventies. With vocals, guitars, violin, banjo and assorted props there is a continual change of sound and mood during the show, whether you're laughing, dancing or singing along, it will be party time!
