CODA

Representing a fresh new wave of contemporary South African music, CODA brings together local and international influences by combining influences of African music with electric strings and DJ.

This uniquely home-grown sound has become the personal favourite of many South Africans, including some of the country's most famous leaders.

Archbishop Desmond Tutu personally invited CODA to perform at his 75th birthday party after being blown away by their performance at FW de Klerk's birthday where guests included Mandela, Buthelezi, the First Lady Zanele Mbeki, Trevor Manual, and many international heads of state.

Barely a year old, CODA has been hailed by many as one of the most exciting new groups in South Africa.

CODA was nominated as one of South Africa's top 5 bands for the music category of the Top Billing Momentum Lifestyle Awards 2006 and has been interviewed on Top Billing and for the SABC 3 entertainment programme, Noted!
