Sean Brokensha

Sean Brokensha (billed as the 'Musicguru') has been on Talk Radio 702, since 1999, currently as part of the Jenny Crwyss Williams Show, but also working with several other 702 shows at appropriate times (eg recently The FIFA World Cup, the 'Kill the Boer' song debate, book reviews and tributes). He has become known for presenting music features that tell 'the story and meaning behind the music', hence the nickname. "Leading from my exposure on radio, and drawing on my own national service and political experiences in pre- and post- 1994 South Africa, I developed my reputation and experience as a professional speaker on topics related to music, history, media and culture.

I have developed a format whereby I can translate the content of my talks into entertainment, (a 'show') by combining diverse elements of music, video, pictures and live performance of what I do on radio, to create classic storytelling in a packaged show. As long as music is involved, I am confident I can fashion an entertaining tale around most topics."
