Harald Pakendorf has edited three different newspapers during his thirty years in journalism, has contributed to five books on politics and the media., is a regular analyst of political matters for local and international radio and television stations, as well as major corporations. Harald Pakendorf publishes a monthly newsletter, is a public speaker, a free-lance journalist and edits two annual reviews, one on the performance of the SA Government, the other on Health Matters (Private Health Care).

Harald Pakendorf's many years in senior editorial positions have provided him with unique access to contacts right across the political spectrum. Harald has served on seven different committees tasked with awarding scholarships and prizes to journalists. Harald Pakendorf was co-author of the constitution of the SA Media Council, of which he was also a founding member.
