In December 1994, Alison Botha was abducted and brutally attacked by two men in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Despite suffering multiple stab wounds, a slit throat, and being left for dead, she managed to crawl to a nearby road and flagged down a passing car for help. Her survival and subsequent recovery were nothing short of remarkable.
