Her most important representation was at the Tshwane University where she spoke about the future global impact of HIV on the youth.

Hlubi has also broached this subject on radio stations such as Umhlobo Wenene, YFM, 702, 5FM and Metro FM.

She has appeared on numerous South African magazine covers – “I like the fact that magazines consider and associate me to glamour – at some point, I was on the covers of 3 magazines in one month”.

Hlubi is very proud of her Elle cover, where she was the first black woman (non-model) to grace its glossy front page.

Hlubi defines herself as a ‘fitness athlete’. She competed in the ‘Body Beautiful’ competition at Carnival City in 2012.

Hlubi has just completed her feature film – a Kung Fu movie named Shogun Khumalo is Dying (by DC Studios) and it was written and directed entirely by South Africans – “It was wonderful to be part of a movement in movies that involved martial arts, especially in South Africa”.

In April of 2013, Hlubi took a month’s break from ‘Isidingo’ in order to present the second series of ‘It’s For Life’ – “I didn’t feel like I was the presenter, I felt like I was one of the contestants.

I really enjoyed it as I am a hands-on girl. It’s For Life taught me spiritual truths like karma (yin and yang) and personal truths such as ‘once you know better, you can do better’. Living in a world that is economic and capitalistic

I have come to realize that at the end of the day, it’s about creating your own reality, successfully”.

In March of 2013, Hlubi summited Mount Kilimanjaro on International Women’s Day, as part of the United Nations World Food Program initiative of which she has been the only Ambassador Against Hunger on the African continent for the past three years.

So what’s in store for Hlubi in the future? – “I just want to be a student of life. I want to be a student of the world… I want an Oscar badly … I want to excel in excellence and not perfection.

Through reaching all of my dreams, I believe that wealth, power, knowledge and wisdom will come without me asking for it.

I also want to enter the corporate world through marketing and consultancy.

I want to open a guesthouse as I love art of hospitality and comfort. I love cooking.” Follow Speakers Inc on Twitter
