“I have come to accept that I cannot bring my parents back, yes they have passed on. I did not choose for them to be infected with HIV, nor did I choose for them to die. However I did realise that I had ONE choice in all that has happened and that was the FACT that it was still my choice how I was going to respond“.
“People often ask me why I am so sure that I am going to succeed despite what has happened to me? And my answer always is ‘because when I was born I had a purpose to fulfill, a role to play on the stage called LIFE’“.
“Now, with or without my parents that role needs to be played out, and I need to play it the best way I know how, and most importantly, I KNOW I CAN!”
